Title: Taking the VG Mission Forward
Prof. V. G. Kulkarni not only gave shape to science education activities at the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education, he also pioneered a science education mission. Today the importance of such a mission is being increasingly felt in the country. The ability to innovate and come up with new products and new knowledge, will come from getting children interested in science, and helping them develop an understanding of things in the world. The talk will focus on this and other elements that will make India a strong knowledge and innovation society.
