Submission of Papers

Those who are engaged in science education in schools, colleges and universities or those who are involved in Science Communication or engaged in policy formulations are hereby cordially invited to submit their papers on any aspect of science education. Such scholars and activists from abroad, particularly from Afro-Asian and Latin American countries too will be welcomed provided that their papers are based on the concrete study of the science education in their own countries. Those who have innovated or discovered new methods and theories of science education or education within or outside the formal system of education shall be most welcome to present their discoveries/innovations/creations at the Second Peoples Education Congress.

 

The length of the full paper can be within 5000 and 7000 words or 15-20 typed pages on A4 size paper. Abstract of each paper should be written within 500 words. The Abstracts should highlight the newness of theories and methods. The paper can be written in Hindi or in English.

 

Three copies of the full paper and its abstracts in triplicate along with its CD should be sent to the General Secretary, Peoples Council of Education.

 

Revised : The last date for submission of abstracts of papers is extended till July 31, 2009 and the last date for submission of full papers is extended till August 31, 2009.

 

(Old : The last date for submission of the abstracts of papers is June 30, 2009 and the last date for submission of full papers is August 15, 2009. )

 

Strands :

Papers can be sent in any one of the following strands:

  1. Physical and Chemical Science Education

  2. Biological Science/Life Science Education

  3. Ecological and Environmental Science Education

  4. Medical and Health Science Education

  5. Geo-Science and Planetary Science Education

  6. Engineering Science Education

  7. Agricultural Science Education

  8. Social Science Education

  9. Mathematical Science Education

  10. Computer Science and Information Technology Education

  11. Scientific History in Science Education

  12. History and Philosophy of Science in Science Education

  13. Language of Science Education

 

Guidelines for submission :

 

  1. Only one abstract to be submitted by each registrant.
  2. The entire abstract including title, author(s) Institution(s) country and acknowledgement must fit within the blue rectangle.
  3. Type the title in upper case letters, the names of the authors and their addresses in upper and lower case and underline the name of the presenting author.
  4. Abstracts will be printed by photo-offset process after reduction.
  5. When using IBM or Apple Macintosh word-processing facilities, use a CG times 10 pitch font. When using a typewriter, use Gothic 12 pitch font.
  6. One original abstract and 3 copies to be mailed with cardboard packing.
  7. Floppy containing text of paper if possible may be sent.
