As part of the Science Education for Diversity Project (SED), which is a European Union funded project, HBCSE will hold a workshop where researchers from HBCSE and teachers will collaboratively develop intervention activities for students of Grade 6 and 8 to be implemented in classrooms. These activities are aimed at addressing ideas about nature of science and would be dialogic in their form. The interaction is expected to result in (a) strategies and modules for collaborative teacher professional development, as well as, (b) specific examples of context appropriate teaching-learning modules developed and trialled by teachers.
