Sub: Invitation to attend Second Peoples Education Congress on Science Education in India, October 5-8, 2009, Mumbai

Dear Sir/Madam,

Peoples Council of Education (PCE) in association with the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE), Tata Institute of Fundamental Research shall hold the Second Peoples Education Congress (PEC) on ‘Science Education in India’ between October 05 and 08, 2009 at HBCSE, Mumbai. The deliberations of the Congress will focus on the major questions of concern about science education in India. The Congress aims to critically appraise the state of science education in our schools, colleges and universities, and deliberate on the ways and methods of making it more universal, democratic, creative and people-oriented.
