Physics Olympiad Exposure Camp

Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) is a National Centre of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai. The broad goals of the Centre are to promote equity and excellence in  cience and mathematics education from primary school to undergraduate college level. It is India's nodal centre for Olympiad programmes in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Astronomy.

We announce a physics olympiad exposure camp for teachers. The camp will consist of various exposure sessions on theory and experimental components in the physics olympiad programme. Eminent scientists/speakers will interact with participants on various interesting topics, giving them a flavor of physics olympiad activity.

We are happy to invite high school/college teachers, who teach PHYSICS at any school/college, to participate in the camp.

Please send the completed application form (which can be downloaded with a link at the bottom of this page) to reach on or before January 10, 2010. We will inform the teachers regarding the selection by January 25, 2010.

All the participants will be eligible for to and fro travel fare (upto II AC) as per the entitlement. All the teachers will be given the registration kit and free tea/snacks/Lunch during all the three days of the workshop. Accommodation will be provided to the participants in HBCSE guest house.
