Capacity Building Program for DIETs, West Bengal

HBCSE is conducting a two week intensive workshop for "Building Capacity for Teacher Development" for the DIET faculty of West Bengal. The workshop will be held in HBCSE, Mumbai from 24th September to 6th October 2012.
The themes of the workshop will be based around the areas of analyzing classroom teaching, analysis of textbook and curriculum material, students' thinking, readings of research materials, developing hands-on science activities through investigatory projects. The workshop will be entirely participatory mode with discussion-based, activity based. Throughout the workshop, the teacher educators will be presenting their work to their peers through presentations of their task assigned during the workshop. As part of the workshop, there will be visits to Science Centres, etc.
